Gull Card Door Access Information - Staff/Faculty/Students

What is Door Access Control (DAC)?

Certain exterior doors have been targeted to receive enhancements to their locking devices.  Doors are equipped with a Door Access Controller : DAC or a Onity Lock.

DAC readers are mainly used on exterior access into buildings and computer labs.  DAC readers require a side swipe of your Gull Card to gain entrance.  Cards access accounts are programmed via a computer terminal by the appropriate dept.

Onity Locks are used for individual resident rooms, laundry rooms and bathrooms.  Onity readers require that you drop your card down into the reader to gain entrance.  Card are physically programmed at various locations on campus.  Check with your building manager for location and times of encoding.
